About Us

Our Story

Meals on Wheels North Jersey (originally Pascack Valley Meals on Wheels) was founded in June 1972. We started with six clients and some seed money from the Montvale Rotary Club. Volunteers were hard to find; it seemed like nobody had heard of a program like this! Today we have hundreds of volunteers on 21 routes delivering meals in 32 towns throughout Bergen County.

Funding

We are funded by client donations, Bergen County Senior Services, Bergen County Community grants, United Way donations, private donors and private grants.

Tax ID #22-2340025

We deliver more than just a hot meal. Watch this video to learn more about our service to Northern Bergen County seniors.
